Traethodau Michel de Montaigne.

Gwaith llenyddol yw traethawd (lluosog: traethodau) a ysgrifennir o safbwynt yr awdur. Mae natur, strwythur a chynnwys traethodau yn amrywio'n eang, ac maent wedi bod yn bwysig ym meysydd beirniadaeth lenyddol, gwleidyddiaeth, sylwebaeth gymdeithasol, dadlau, cofiannau, a barnau personol.
