Nofelydd o Gymru sy'n ysgrifennu yn Saesneg yw Trezza Azzopardi (ganwyd yng Nghaerdydd). Cymraes yw ei mam a daw ei thad o Malta. Astudiodd ysgrifennu creadigol ym Mhrifysgol Dwyrain Anglia, ac yn bresennol mae'n gweithio fel darlithydd yno.
Rhestrwyd ei nofel gyntaf, The Hiding Place, ar restr fer y Booker Prize yn 2000 (cyflawniad nodweddiadol gan nad yw nofelau cyntaf fel arfer yn cael eu enwebu ar gyfer y wobr). Enillodd y nofel y Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize hefyd ac aeth ar restr fer y James Tait Black Memorial Prize. Daeth ei hail nofel, Remember Me, ar restr fer Llyfr y Flwyddyn.
Mae Azzopardi yn byw yn Norwich, yn nwyrain Lloegr.
