Chesterfield 2017–18 football season
The 2017–18 season was the 151st season in Chesterfield's history and their first season back in League Two for four years, following relegation the previous season.[3] Along with League Two, the club participated in the FA Cup , League Cup and EFL Trophy .
The season covers the period from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018.

^ Flores' loan was initially meant to last until 30 June 2018, but was cancelled on 31 January 2018, due to injuries sustained in a car crash on 23 October 2017.[51]
^ De Girolamo's loan was initially meant to last until 30 June 2018, but was ended by mutual consent on 31 January 2018.[54]
^ Jules' loan was initially meant to last until 14 January 2018, but was cut short when he was injured in the 2-3 defeat to Yeovil Town on 26 September 2017.
