Gabbia is a genus of a freshwater snails with an operculum , aquatic prosobranch gastropod mollusks in the family Bithyniidae .
Glöer & Pešić (2012)[ 2] recognized Gabbia as a subgenus of the genus Bithynia .[ 2]
