He won a gold medal in sprint at the 2024 World Orienteering Championships in Edinburgh, ahead of Tino Polsini and Emil Svensk.[6] The win was Regborn's first medal in the world orienteering championships.[7] He also qualified for the final in the knockout sprint at the world championships, where he placed fifth.[8]
As of 2024, Regborn was based in Örebro and was coaching orienteering at a high school in Hallsberg. Regborn named Emil Wingstedt as one of his orienteering idols growing up.[9]
