New Zealand food scientist
Nazimah Hamid is a New Zealand food science academic, and as of 2017 is a full professor at the Auckland University of Technology.[1]
Academic career
After a 1996 PhD titled 'Relationships between aroma quality in juices from two frozen Scottish raspberries and thermal and enzymic treatments in processing' at the University of Strathclyde, Hamid moved to the Auckland University of Technology, rising to full professor.[1]
Honours and awards
In 2017 Hamid was elected a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology.[2]
