American drag performer
Plasma[2] is the stage name of Taylor Ratliff (born November 6, 1998),[3] an American drag performer best known for competing on season 16 of RuPaul's Drag Race.[4]
Early life and education
Ratliff's father is a Republican[5] lobbyist in Texas, who has fought against anti-drag legislation.[6] Ratliff's grandfather is Bill Ratliff, former lieutenant governor of Texas.[citation needed]
Ratliff earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre performance from the University of Oklahoma.[7][3]
Career
Plasma competed on season 16 of RuPaul's Drag Race. She was eliminated from the competition after losing a lip-sync contest against Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige to a remix of "Bloody Mary" by Lady Gaga.[8]

Ratliff is based in New York City.[9]
