At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 12,408 in 2,491 households.[6] There were 11,268 inhabitants in 2,829 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 11,842 in 3,174 households. The most populous of its 47 villages was Kahrizeh, with 1,568 people.[2]
