There's no good reason to blank the colors without a real consensus. WP:CONTRAST is the reason not to apply the colours as you did. I have removed them again. Stop editing against the guideline. There cannot be a consensus without a discussion. There's no good reason to blank the template when the colors fall in line with WP:CONTRAST. You cannot revert templates simply you disagree with them.
