گیرندهٔ چشایی نوع ۲، عضو ۴۰ (انگلیسی: Taste receptor type 2 member 40) یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «TAS2R40» کُدگذاری میشود.[۵][۶]
این ژن و پروتئینش در حس چشایی انسان نقش دارند.
