گیرندهٔ چشایی نوع ۲، عضو ۴۲ (انگلیسی: Taste receptor type 2 member 42) یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «TAS2R42» کُدگذاری میشود.[۵][۶]
این ژن و پروتئینش در حس چشایی انسان نقش دارند.
