A.C. Green, Jr., né le 4 octobre 1963 à Portland dans l'Oregon, est un ancien joueur de NBA formé à l'Oregon State University. Il a remporté trois titres NBA avec les Lakers de Los Angeles en 1987, 1988 (aux côtés de Magic Johnson) et en 2000 (avec Shaquille O'Neal et Kobe Bryant).

A.C. Green détient le record de matchs consécutifs joués en NBA avec 1 192 rencontres sans interruption entre le 18 novembre 1986 et le 18 avril 2001, dépassant ainsi le précédent record de Randy Smith (906). Ce record lui a valu le surnom d’"Iron Man". Durant toute sa carrière, il n’a manqué que 3 matchs. Lors de sa dernière rencontre à 37 ans, il réalise encore 19 points, 14 rebonds et 5 passes en 37 minutes contre le Magic d’Orlando. Transféré des Suns aux Mavericks de Dallas durant la saison 1996-1997, il joue 56 matchs avec Dallas après en avoir disputé 27 avec Phoenix, totalisant 83 rencontres de saison régulière, un de plus que le nombre réglementaire de 82 matchs.[1]
