Nintendo Research & Development No. 1 Department, (იაპონ. 任天堂開発第一部 ნინტენდო კაიჰაცუ დაიიჩი ბუ?) უფრო მეტად ცნობილი აბრევიატურით Nintendo R&D1 — Nintendo-ს ვიდეო თამაშების ყველაზე ძველი დეველოპერთა ჯგუფი.[1] 1978 წლამდე, მის გაყოფამდე ატარებდა სახელს Nintendo Research & Development Department. ჯგუფს შექმნილი აქვს ისეთი განთქმული თამაშების სერიები როგორებიცაა „Metroid“, „Mario Bros.“, და „Donkey Kong“.[2]

R&D1-მა შეიმუშავა მეტად წარმატებული კონსოლების ხაზი Game Boy, გამოსული 1989 წელს.[3] მათ ასევე შექმნეს „Super Mario Land“-ის ხაზის რამდენიმე თამაში და პერსონაჟი Wario.
