- Hadrianus maakt een inspectiereis langs de Rijngrens (Limes) en wordt vergezeld door zijn vrouw Vibia Sabina. In het land van de Cananefaten (Nederland) bezoekt hij het Municipium Aelium Cananefatium en hernoemt de stad tot Forum Hadriani (Voorburg).
