Aladfar (eta Lyrae) is een ster in het sterrenbeeld Lier (Lyra). Deze ster vormt met de ster theta Lyrae een opvallend koppel ten noordoosten van de ruit die het sterrenbeeld Lier vormt. Eta en theta Lyrae bevinden zich iets meer dan een graad van elkaar. Ten zuidoosten van dit koppel is de open sterrenhoop NGC 6791 te vinden.
