Atlantic Spaceport Complex is een lanceerbasis in aanbouw in de Canadese stad St. Lawrence aan de zuidkust van het eiland Newfoundland. De basis wordt beschouwd als de eerste commerciële ruimtehaven voor satellietlanceringen in Canada.[1]
Infrastructuur
Tijdens de initiële bouwfase worden er twee lanceerinstalaties (SLC-1 en SLC-2) gebouwd. Voor telecommunicatie en tracking wordt samengewerkt met C-CORE, Kongsberg Satellite Services en LeoLabs.
Geschiedenis
In augustus 2025 had NordSpace de lancering van haar eerste 6m hoge testraket van het type Taiga vanaf ASX gepland nadat de lancering was uitgesteld door slecht weer.[2] De lancering diende uitgesteld te worden door technische problemen.
In januari 2026 verkreeg eigenaar NordSpace een milieuvergunning voor het uitbaten van een commerciële ruimtehaven.[1]
