Axminster is een civil parish in het bestuurlijke gebied East Devon, in het Engelse graafschap Devon. De plaats telt zo'n 6.500 inwoners.
Axminster ligt aan de rivier de Axe (niet te verwarren met de oostelijker gelegen Exe) en is sinds de Keltische tijd bewoond.
