Het Azalea Open Invitational is een voormalig jaarlijks golftoernooi in de Verenigde Staten dat deel uitmaakte van de Amerikaanse PGA Tour.
Geschiedenis
In 1945 werd het toernooi opgericht als het Azalea Open en werd gewonnen door Sammy Byrd. Het toernooi vond plaats op de Mobile Country Club in Mobile, Alabama. In 1946 verhuisde het toernooi naar Wilmington, North Carolina en werd tot de laatste editie gespeeld op de Cape Fear Country Club, in 1971.
Sinds de oprichting werd de naam van het toernooi meermaals hernoemd: het Wilmington Open, in 1949, het Wilmington Azalea Open, in 1950, het Azalea Open, in 1952, en het Azalea Open Invitational, in 1965.
