Bullock Channel

De Bullock Channel is een zeestraat in het zuidwesten van Brits-Columbia in Canada.

Geografie

De zeestraat heeft een lengte van ongeveer 14 kilometer en een breedte van tussen de 235 en 1400 meter. De zeestraat ligt noordnoordwest-zuidzuidoost gepositioneerd en mondt in het noorden uit op de Spiller Channel en in het zuiden op de Return Channel. Ten oosten ligt de Coldwell Peninsula en ten westen Yeo Island.

De zeestraat ligt in de mariene ecoregio Noord-Amerikaans Pacifisch Fjordland.

Geschiedenis

In 1793 werd het voor het eerst in kaart gebracht door James Johnstone, een van de luitenanten van George Vancouver tijdens zijn expeditie van 1791-1795.
