Calzan is een Franse gemeente in het departement Ariège in de regio Occitanie. De gemeente telde 45 inwoners op 1 januari 2023.[1]
Geschiedenis
De gemeente maakte tot 2015 deel uit van het kanton Varilhes. Toen het kanton op 22 maart 2015 werd opgeheven werd Calzan opgenomen in het op die dag gevormde kanton Val d'Ariège.[2] Per 1 januari 2017 werden de grenzen van de arrondissementen van Ariège aangepast waarbij Calzan werd overgeheveld van het arrondissement Pamiers en net als de rest van het kanton Val d'Ariège deel ging uitmaken van het arrondissement Foix.[3]
Geografie
De oppervlakte van Calzan bedraagt 3,99 vierkante kilometer. Op 1 januari 2023 was de bevolkingsdichtheid 11,3 inwoners per km².
