Carbuncle Cup

De Carbuncle Cup is een Britse architectuurprijs, die oorspronkelijk werd uitgereikt door het vaktijdschrift Building Design van 2006 tot 2018.

Sinds 2024 werd de traditie hernomen door het tijdschrift The Fence. Met de prijs wordt het allerslechtste, nieuwe bouwwerk bekroond, dat in het voorafgaande jaar in het Verenigd Koninkrijk werd gerealiseerd. De prijs is altijd gezien als een parodie op de prestigieuze Stirling Prize, uitgereikt door het Royal Institute of British Architects, in analogie van hoe de Ig Nobelprijs zich verhoudt tot de Nobelprijs.

Gekende laureaten zijn Strata SE1 als winnaar in 2010, de renovatie van de Cutty Sark in 2012 en 20 Fenchurch Street ('The Walkie-Talkie') van Rafael Viñoly in 2015.
