Complexe integraal

Complexe integralen zijn integralen, waaronder lijnintegralen, in het vlak van de complexe getallen. Dit betekent dus dat het integralen zijn van een complexe functie van een complexe variabele . De integratie loopt over een pad in het complexe vlak.

Complexe integralen komen veel voor in wiskundige- en natuurkundige vraagstukken. Bepaalde stellingen over complexe integralen zijn van belang om differentiaalvergelijkingen op te lossen, of om reële integralen te bepalen die het reële of imaginaire deel van een complexe functie vormen. De belangrijkste complexe integralen zijn die van de zogenaamde holomorfe of analytische functies.
