Daniel "Danny" Clark (Launceston, 30 augustus 1951) is een voormalig Australisch wielrenner, die vooral uitblonk in het baanwielrennen.

Carrière

IN 1970 won hij een zilveren medaille op de Britse Gemenebestspelen bij de individuele achtervolging. Hij was als baanrenner actief tussen 1973 en 1997 en behaalde vele overwinningen, onder anderen samen met Andreas Kappes, Urs Freuler, René Pijnen, Bernard Vallet en Donald Allen. Zijn grootste succes was evenwel het behalen van de zilveren medaille tijdens de Olympische Zomerspelen 1972 op het onderdeel 1000m tijdrit verreden in het Olympia-Radstadion.

Danny Clark won zesdaagsen in: Antwerpen, Berlijn, Buenos Aires, Dortmund, Gent, Grenoble, Hannover, Herning, Kopenhagen, Keulen, Maastricht, München, Münster, Parijs, Rotterdam en de Sydney.

Daarnaast won hij diverse wereld- en Europese medailles, onder andere op de onderdelen keirin en puntenkoers. Clark reed voor een groot aantal ploegen, waaronder die van Peter Post.
