David Edward Card (Guelph, 1956) is Canadees-Amerikaans econoom en hoogleraar aan de Universiteit van Californië - Berkeley. De Prijs van de Zweedse Rijksbank voor economie werd in 2021 aan Card toegekend voor zijn empirische bijdragen aan de arbeidseconomie. Hij deelde deze prijs met Guido Imbens en Joshua Angrist, aan wie de prijs voor hun methodologische bijdrage aan de analyse van causale inferentie werd toegekend.[1]
