Editio is een Nederlandse online schrijversacademie en magazine.

Geschiedenis

Editio werd in 2013 opgericht door Bob van der Burg en Marlies Bonnike.[1] Sinds 2016 wordt ook het gelijknamige online magazine uitgebracht.[2]

Organisatie

Editio biedt schrijfopleidingen voor zowel beginnende als gevorderde schrijvers. Online lesmateriaal wordt gecombineerd met begeleiding door docenten (tutoren). Tutoren zijn professionele auteurs, zoals Manon Uphoff, Rob van Essen, Thomas Verbogt, Emy Koopman, Ivo Victoria, Anne Eekhout, Auke Kok, Elke Geurts, Charles den Tex, Walter van den Berg, Anke Kranendonk, Joris van Casteren, Özcan Akyol, Jan Vantoortelboom, Jos Versteegen, Wilma Geldof, Thijs de Boer en Aukelien Weverling.[3]

Debutantenschrijfwedstrijd

Ook wordt sinds 2015 de jaarlijkse Debutantenschrijfwedstrijd georganiseerd, waarbij de Debutantenprijs wordt uitgereikt tijdens het Debutantenbal. Editio heeft hierbij wisselende samenwerkingen gehad met NRC Boeken, CPNB, Stichting Literaire Activiteiten Amsterdam, De Balie en Sociëteit De Kring.[4][5][6]
