Faisal Chatar is een Belgische dj en producer.
Biografie
Chatar groeide op in Lommel en verhuisde later naar Antwerpen.
In 2012 startte hij bij VRT. Daar verzorgde hij onder meer de radiojingles.
Faisal is huisdeejay bij Studio Brussel en draaide onder andere samen met zijn broer Hakim meerdere sets op grote festivals zoals Pukkelpop, Tomorrowland en Rock Werchter.[1]
In 2017 en 2018 was hij ook frequent op televisie te zien: in het satirische actualiteitenmagazine De Ideale Wereld was hij sidekick van presentator Otto-Jan Ham.[2]
In 2016 won hij de Redbull Elektropedia Award voor beste dj.[3]
Van 2018 tot 2019 had Chatar een relatie met actrice Ella Leyers.[4]
In 2020 werd Chatar veroordeeld voor geweld tegen politie nadat hij zich had verzet bij een arrestatie aan het toenmalige Sportpaleis waarbij hij de elleboog van een agent brak.[5]
Chatar produceerde in 2024 het album IJsland van het muziekduo IJsland.
In 2026 produceerde Chatar het album IJsland 2 van het muziekduo IJsland.[6]
