House Rules is een Australische realityserie die geproduceerd werd voor en uitgezonden werd door Seven Network. In de serie nemen teams van twee personen uit elke Australische deelstaat het tegen elkaar op in een verbouwwedstrijd.
House Rules ging in première op 14 april 2013. In België was de reeks te zien op Vitaya en later op 2BE. Na acht seizoenen werd de reeks in 2020 stopgezet. In 2021 werd een spin-off, Apartment Rules, aangekondigd, maar deze reeks werd uiteindelijk nooit geproduceerd.[1] In 2026 werd een nieuwe reeks binnen dezelfde franchise aangekondigd onder de naam My Reno Rules met als presentator Chris Brown, die in 2024 het gelijkaardige programma Dream Home presenteerde.[2]
House Rules Holland
In 2015 werd in Nederland de spin-off House Rules Holland uitgezonden op Net5.[3] Deze reeks kreeg in 2016 een tweede seizoen onder de naam House rules!. Vanaf het derde seizoen in 2017 kreeg de reeks de naam House Rules NL.
