Het Interim Computer Museum (ICM) is een Amerikaans computermuseum gevestigd in Tukwila (Washington). Het museum werd opgericht in 2024 als een non-profitorganisatie en richt zich op het behoud, restauratie en tentoonstelling van historische computers, randapparatuur en software.
Collectie
De collectie omvat ongeveer 6.000 objecten die de ontwikkeling van de computertechnologie documenteren. Hieronder bevinden zich minicomputers, werkstations, terminals, opslagmedia en documentatie. Het museum legt de nadruk op werkende systemen die bezoekers kunnen gebruiken, in plaats van uitsluitend statische tentoonstellingen. Daarnaast biedt het museum ook mogelijkheden voor toegang op afstand tot een aantal gerestaureerde systemen voor onderzoeks- en onderwijsdoeleinden.[1] De collectie wordt actief onderhouden en uitgebreid door middel van donaties en gerichte aankopen. Na de definitieve sluiting van Living Computers: Museum + Labs in 2020 ontving het Interim Computer Museum een deel van diens collectie.[2]
