Lavoux is een gemeente in het Franse departement Vienne (regio Nouvelle-Aquitaine). De gemeente telde 1.192 inwoners op 1 januari 2023.[1] De plaats maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Poitiers.
Geschiedenis
Aan het einde van de achttiende eeuw werd Lavoux een gemeente. In 1819 werd buurgemeente Liniers opgenomen in de gemeente Lavoux, maar in 1869 werd Liniers opnieuw een zelfstandige gemeente.[2]
Geografie
De oppervlakte van Lavoux bedraagt 15,03 vierkante kilometer. Op 1 januari 2023 was de bevolkingsdichtheid 79,3 inwoners per km².
