Linfield FC is een Noord-Ierse voetbalclub uit de hoofdstad Belfast.
Linfield is de meest succesvolle club in Noord-Ierland met 57 titels. De enige clubs in de wereld die een gelijk aantal landstitels veroverden, zijn Glasgow Rangers FC en Celtic FC. Linfield won ook vijf titels tijdens de oorlogsjaren maar deze zijn niet officieel. Linfield is ook recordhouder van de meeste bekeroverwinningen: het won de Noord-Ierse beker al 44 keer.

Linfield FC in Europa
De club speelde al vele Europese wedstrijden en haalde de kwartfinale van de Europacup I in 1967 na overwinningen op het Luxemburgse Aris Bonnevoie en het Noorse Vålerenga IF. In de kwartfinale was het Bulgaarse CSKA Sofia echter te sterk voor de Noord-Ieren.
In het Europese seizoen 2022/23 was Linfield FC dicht bij de allereerste deelname aan een Europese groepsfase. In de 120ste minuut scoorde RFS uit Letland toch nog de gelijkmaker (1-1). In de strafschoppenserie won RFS en slaagde Linfield er niet in de allereerste Noord-Ierse voetbalvereniging te worden die de groepsfase van een Europees toernooi bereikte.
