Lyminge is een civil parish in het bestuurlijke gebied Folkestone & Hythe, in het Engelse graafschap Kent.

Lyminge staat bekend als een koninklijk centrum van het Angelsaksische koninkrijk, waar koningin Ethelburga in 633 een abdij stichtte. De huidige monumentale kerk van St. Mary and St. Ethelburga dateert grotendeels uit circa 965, maar archeologisch onderzoek in 2019 heeft de fundamenten van de oorspronkelijke 7e-eeuwse kerk met kenmerkend roze mortel blootgelegd.[1]

Naast deze rijke historie wordt het dorp gekenmerkt door een diverse flora en fauna in de omliggende oude bossen en de aanwezigheid van het monumentale landgoed Sibton Park.
