OpenCola
OpenCola is een type cola waarvan het recept is uitgegeven onder de GNU General Public License. Dat betekent dat iedereen vrij is om deze cola te produceren en om aangepaste versies van het recept uit te geven, mits die aangepaste versies ook weer uitgegeven worden onder de GNU General Public License.
De huidige versie van het recept is 1.1.3, waarbij sinds versie 1 niet zozeer het recept is veranderd, als wel de documentatie erbij.
Oorspronkelijk was OpenCola een manier om vrije software en opensourcesoftware te promoten en aan belangstellenden uit te leggen. De niet meer bestaande firma Opencola uit Toronto werd met OpenCola bekender dan de software dat het met OpenCola probeerde te promoten.
