De Joodse ondernemers Abe Potash en Mawruss Perlmutter worden tweedehandsautohandelaren. Na een ruzie zetten ze hun samenwerking stop. Abe wordt vervolgens opgelicht door een stel boeven. Hij wordt bijna in de cel gegooid, maar Mawruss schiet hem juist op tijd te hulp.
