Refrain was het winnende lied van het Eurovisiesongfestival 1956, het lied werd geschreven door Émile Gardaz en Géo Voumard. Het werd gezongen door Lys Assia, die Zwitserland vertegenwoordigde. Ze was de allereerste winnaar van het festival. Assia zong twee liedjes voor Zwitserland. Het andere liedje was Das alte Karussell.

Het lied werd als negende gezongen op de avond van het festival, na Nederland (Corry Brokken) met Voorgoed voorbij en voor België (Mony Marc) met Le plus beau jour de ma vie. De punten die zijn toegekend aan het lied, zijn nooit bekendgemaakt.
