Het Rex Hospital Open is een golftoernooi in de Verenigde Staten en het maakt deel uit van de Web.com Tour. Het toernooi werd opgericht in 1994 en wordt sinds 2000 telkens gespeeld op de TPC Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Hert is een strokeplay-toernooi dat gespeeld wordt over vier dagen en na de tweede dag wordt de cut toegepast.

Geschiedenis

In 1992 werd het toernooi opgericht als de Carolina Classic en de eerste editie werd gewonnen door de Amerikaan Skip Kendall. Van 1994 tot 1999 werd het toernooi gesponsord door Nike. In 2010 en 2011 werd het gesponsord door Buy.com en van 2002 tot 2004 sponsorde de Southern Audio Services (SAS) dit toernooi.

In 2005 werd het toernooi hernoemd tot het Rex Hospital Open.
