Satchinez is een gemeente in het Roemeense district Timiș en ligt in de regio Banaat in het westen van Roemenië. De gemeente telt 4606 inwoners (2005).
Geografie
De oppervlakte van Satchinez bedraagt 99,88 km², de bevolkingsdichtheid is 46 inwoners per km².
De gemeente bestaat uit de volgende dorpen: Bărăteaz, Hodoni, Satchinez.
Demografie
Van de 4635 inwoners in 2002 zijn 4093 Roemenen, 55 Hongaren, 80 Duitsers, 352 Roma's en 55 van andere etnische groepen.

De burgemeester van Satchinez is Luceafăr Vișinescu (PSD).
Geschiedenis
In 1332 werd Satchinez officieel erkend. De historische Hongaarse en Duitse namen zijn respectievelijk Temeskenéz en Knees.
