Simone Koot (Utrecht, 12 november 1980) is een Nederlandse waterpolospeelster.
Koot speelde tot 2008 bij Brandenburg in Bilthoven. Vanaf het seizoen 2009-2010 kwam ze uit voor GZC Donk uit Gouda.
Met het Nederlands team werd zij in 2007 negende bij de wereldkampioenschappen in Melbourne, Australië.[1] Haar olympische debuut maakte ze in 2008 op de Olympische Spelen van Peking. Nederland won er de titel. Ze werd in 2008 in Utrecht Sportvrouw van het jaar.
Koot is een hartstochtelijke fan van FC Utrecht.[1]
