Stigmella thuringiaca (ganzerikmineermot) is een vlinder uit de familie van de dwergmineermotten (Nepticulidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld als Nepticula thuringiaca door August Arthur Petry in een publicatie uit 1904.
Verspreiding
De soort komt voor in Europa waaronder België, Duitsland, Frankrijk, Spanje, Italië, Zwitserland, Oostenrijk, Polen, Tsjechië, Slowakije, Hongarije, Slovenië, Kroatië, Roemenië, de Krim, Europees Rusland en verder nog in Siberië.
Voorkomen in Nederland en België
De ganzerikmineermot komt in Nederland niet voor. In België komt de ganzerikmineermot alleen in de provincie Namen voor.[1]
Waardplanten
De rups leeft als bladmineerder op planten van de rozenfamilie (Rosaceae) waaronder:
- gewone agrimonie (Agrimonia eupatoria)
- Filipendula
- grote bosaardbei (Fragaria moschata)
- bosaardbei (Fragaria vesca)
- heuvelaardbei (Fragaria viridis)
- voorjaarsganzerik (Potentilla verna)
- kleine pimpernel (Sanguisorba minor)
