Yanbu' al Bahr (Arabisch: ينبع البحر; Bron aan Zee), ook bekend als Yanbu is een Saoedische stad aan de Rode Zee. Yanbu ligt in de provincie Medina op ongeveer 350 kilometer ten noorden van Jeddah in de streek Hidjaz. Yanbu had in 2004 ongeveer 188.430 inwoners.
Iranoorlog 2026
In de Iranoorlog 2026 wordt Yanbu als alternatief inzet voor de Straat van Hormuz die door wordt Iran geblokkeerd. Op 19 maart 2026 werd een olieraffinaderij getroffen door een drone waardoor een levensbelangrijke corridor voor gas, olie en kunstmest dicht is.[1]
