Berom[1][2], Birom[2], Beron[3], Gbang[2] – lud subsaharyjski z grupy etnicznej Benue[2], rdzenna, najliczniejsza grupa etniczna wyżyny Jos w Nigerii[1].

Lud żyje w obrębie stanu Plateau[2], przeważnie w rządowych obszarach lokalnych Jos Południowe[2], Jos Północne[2], Berakin Ladi[2] (Barakin Ladi) i Riyom[potrzebny przypis], a także w stanach Kaduna[2] (w Jema[2]) i Bauczi[2]. Mówią językiem berom[2]. Lud liczy ok. 464 tys. osób[2].

Religia[2]:

Berom posiadają bogate, unikalne dziedzictwo kulturowe. Corocznie w marcu lub kwietniu świętują festiwal Nzem Berom[potrzebny przypis].

W pierwsze dziesięcioleciu XXI w. odnotowano kilka zbrojnych konfliktów z muzułmańskim ludem Hausa[3].
