CVC (ang. Compact Video Cassette) – pierwszy rozpowszechniony mikroformat wideo, opracowany przez firmy Technicolor i Funai pod koniec lat 70. XX wieku. CVC oferował lepszą jakość zapisu od VHS.

W systemie tym zastosowano kasetę tylko nieznacznie większą od magnetofonowej typu CC. Maksymalny czas nagrania wynosił 45 minut, pod koniec produkowano także taśmy godzinne. Obraz rejestrowany był na taśmie 6 mm. Rozdzielczość pozioma 260 linii, dynamika obrazu ponad 43 dB.

CVC produkowany był w wersjach: jako mały magnetowid przenośny do kamer lub kombi z telewizorem. W Europie format CVC promował niemiecki koncern Grundig.

W połowie lat 80. wyparty został z rynku przez kolejny mikroformat: Video8.
