Diler
Diler – anglicyzm, spolszczona wersja angielskiego słowa dealer, oznaczającego osobę pośredniczącą w transakcjach kupna i sprzedaży[1].
Opis
Słowo rozpowszechniło się w okresie po przemianie ustrojowej 1989 roku, jako anglicyzm mający w zamyśle sprzedawcy podnieść jego rangę, bądź samego produktu.
Dilerem często nazywa się osobę (lub przedsiębiorstwo) handlującą produktami określonej marki. Nazwą tą chętnie posługują się salony samochodowe.
Diler jest także popularnym określeniem osoby nielegalnie sprzedającej – najczęściej w niewielkich ilościach – narkotyki („diler narkotykowy“, tj. handlarz narkotykami).
