General Public – angielski zespół new wave założony w Birmingham w 1983 r. przez wokalistów Dave'a Wakelinga (ur. 1956) i Rankinga Rogera (1963–2019) z The Beat[1].
W skład zespołu wchodzili także byli członkowie: Dexys Midnight Runners, The Specials oraz The Clash. Największymi przebojami grupy były utwory: Tenderness (1984)[2] i I'll Take You There (1994)[3].
