Manoush Vasquez, (ur. Marcia Nicole Barandshay[1] 29 maja 1971 w Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer) – francuska aktorka i piosenkarka pochodzenia romskiego[2].

Życiorys

Młodość

Jej matka jest Cyganką Sinti pochodzenia aszkalskiego[3], a jej ojciec jest Amerykaninem pochodzenia niemieckiego[2]. W dzieciństwie przeprowadziła się kilkakrotnie i mieszkała w Haarlemie w Holandii Północnej, Kolonii i Biel. W wieku osiemnastu lat, Manusz została modelką[4], ale przestała działać dwa lata później, po wypadku samochodowym, który pozostawił jej blizny na brzuchu i nogach[1].

Kariera filmowa

Manoush rozpoczęła karierę filmową w 1997 roku. W 2000 roku zaproponowano jej rolę nimfomanki w filmie Amelia Jean-Pierre’a Jeuneta, co otworzyło jej wiele drzwi w przemyśle filmowym i telewizyjnym. W 2016 i 2017 roku nagrała 2 piosenki z brytyjską grupą Bronski Beat i amerykańskim producentem Manem Parrish[3].

Życie prywatne

Manusz poślubiła Chrisa Vasqueza w 2006 roku. Mieszkają w Nowym Jorku[2][7].
