Pochodzi ze sportowej rodziny. Jego matka Debra grała w koszykówkę i siatkówkę na uczelni DePaul[1]. W 2000 została wybrana do Galerii Sław Sportu (Athletics Hall of Fame)[1]. Brat Marty grał w koszykówkę na uczelni Lewis, natomiast siostra Maggie w siatkówkę na UIC[1].

19 października 2019 został zwolniony przez Boston Celtics[2]. 22 października podpisał umowę z Chicago Bulls na występy zarówno w NBA, jak i G-League[3].
