Wyspecjalizowało się w produkcji dysków SSD, przenośnych pamięci USB, dysków przenośnych i modułów DRAM[4].

Założycielami Netac Technology są Deng Guoshun i Cheng Xiaohua, którzy wcześniej pracowali dla przedsiębiorstwa Philips. W 2002 roku Netac uzyskał w Chinach patent na pamięć USB[5].
