Версия этой песни также исполняется группой (GNU/Stallmans) во время титров документального фильма «Революционная ОС» (2001). В 1998 году Мэтт Лопер записал техно-версию песни[1]. Джоно Бейкон также записал дэт-метал версию песни[2], а группа Fenster записала ритмическую версию[3]. Кроме того, есть испанская поп-панк-версия, записанная ALEC[4][5], и мэшап Рика Эстли «Never Gonna Give GNU Up»[6].
