Micippa (лат.) — род морских крабов из семейства Majidae инфраотряда Eubrachyura (Majoidea, Heterotremata). Известно около 10 видов. Они обитают в приливной зоне и на континентальном шельфе на глубинах от 0 до 100 м в Индо-Тихоокеанском регионе и в умеренной климатической зоне Австралии[2].
Описание
Карапакс достигает в длину до 36 мм, продольно овальный, покрыт бугорками и шипами. Рострум (центральный лобный отросток) состоит из двух широких плоских шиповидных пластин, сросшихся по меньшей мере на первые две трети. Верхний орбитальный выступ отделён от заглазничного шипа швом; передний орбитальный угол квадратный. Предглазничный шип тупой. Область печени и края жабр бугорчатые[2].

Классификация
По данным World Register of Marine Species, на январь 2026 года род включает около 10 видов[1][3]. Согласно Всемирному реестру морских видов, этот род классифицируется в подсемействе Majinae семейства Majidae[1], в то время как Гэри Пуре и Шейн Т. Ахйонг относят его к семейству Epialtidae[2].
