Parides (лат.) — род дневных бабочек из семейства Парусники.
Описание
К роду относятся бабочки средних размеров. Окраска крыльев преимущественно чёрная или тёмно-коричневая, с яркими зелёными, красными или жёлтыми пятнами. У самок передние крылья с белыми, а задние — с ярко-розовыми пятнами, размер и число которых сильно варьирует. Почти у всех видов хвостики на задних крыльях отсутствуют, исключением является Parides gundlachianus с Кубы.
