Perinia (лат.) — род морских крабов из семейства Epialtidae инфраотряда Eubrachyura (Majoidea, Heterotremata). Известно 2 вида. Они обитают в приливной зоне и на континентальном шельфе на глубинах от 0 до 40 м в Индо-Тихоокеанском регионе[1].
Описание
Карапакс достигает в длину до 7,7 мм, округлый и несёт несколько бугорков. Рострум (центральный лобный отросток) состоит из двух небольших долей, разделённых U-образной выемкой. Надглазничный выступ образует непрерывный ободок вокруг глаза, без шипов спереди и сзади от глазницы. Он отделён от заднего орбитального шипа V-образной выемкой. Глаз может втягиваться к этому ободу. Передний орбитальный угол отсутствует. Меры ходильных ног имеют два острых зубца или лопасти на своих разгибательных краях и бугорки на своих наружных поверхностях. У первых двух пар ходильных ног лопасти имеют форму лезвия, а бугорки высокие[1].
